Welcome to my daily learning section, here I write about a topic a day for whatever I learn from life. Each topic would be short and concise but very practical. Please add this page to your book mark and come back again daily for daily dose.
Being an employee and a team player there are many things you need to watch out carefully. There are different stages to deal differently like when you are new and when you are somewhat old. What I learned today is, until you feel you have strong feet in the place, DON’T compare you performance, work time, work load and attendance with other members.
For example: if you are new and you are performing continuously 8 hours of work and your older (and manager’s favorite) colleague doesn’t, it’s not the right time to say something. First you need to get hold of your position. Even with your other mates, until you are asked to evaluate the performance don’t point out.
Keep this sentence in mind: I will focus on my work. I won’t overload myself. I won’t see others what they are doing. Until you are asked to or you have a strong position.
